Final Results
Seaside, CA -- Fighting through 25-30 mile per hour wind gusts, the Academy of Art University women's golf team wrapped up the CSUMB Lady Otter Invitational with a ninth place finish out of 11 teams at the Bayonet Golf Course. Freshman
Laura Huertas led the way for the Urban Knights by shooting a 166 over two days and wound up in a tie for the 29th spot individually.

Lyra Yo and
Crystal Superal improved on their Day 1 scores and finished tied for 35th place and 40th place respectively.
Yo shot an 83 the second day and turned in a score of 168 while
Superal was two strokes better than her first day and posted a 170. The fourth Knight was freshman
Andrea Nieto who took a tie for 46th overall after shooting a 174 over both days.
On the team side, Cal Baptist University won the invitational with an overall score of 630 and had the tournament's top individual finisher, Adrianna Niclotti, who had a two-day score of 154.
The Urban Knights are scheduled to be off until next year when they begin 2010 with a trip to San Marcos, CA for the Cal State San Marcos Tournament on Feb. 28
