Punctuating the 2022 calendar year with a dominant victory, Academy of Art women's basketball was led by a career performance from sophomore forward/center Alisha Wilson.

The Communications & Media Technologies major achieved a pair of career-highs with 28 points an 22 rebounds in the Urban Knights' Jan. 3 triumph over Holy Names. Shooting 13-for-21 from the field while adding three assists and one steal, Wilson bettered her previous career scoring total by two points and her previous rebounding career-high by four while tying for the third-highest mark in program history, one back of the Academy of Art single-game record shared by Pre'Franz Dominick and Alisa Griggs (23).

Wilson's recent breakout performances have elevated her to fourth in the PacWest in scoring (14.5 points per game) and third in field goal percentage (.495) while she remains the conference's leader in rebounds per game (11.3) and tied for the lead in double-doubles (5).
