Fresh off receiving the highest singles ranking in program history (No. 7), redshirt junior Monika Stanikova came away with a pair of victories in a 7-2 victory for Academy of Art University Women's Tennis at Dominican on Apr. 8.

Joining with junior Paula Alcantara, Stanikova started the day by earning a doubles win in the second position, prevailing over Penguins' Taylor Lim and Savannah Gray 8-3. In singles, Stanikova faced Dominican's Rickimae Torres in the top spot and relinquished only five total games in a 6-2, 6-3 triumph.
