Freshman Regina Camera put forth two of her best games in an Urban Knight uniform against two of the toughest opponents her team has faced thus far in 2012-13. Leading the charge with a career-high 23 points in Academy of Art University's 82-73 upset victory over #17 Pittsburgh State, Camera would then maintain her hot hand with 15 points in a close loss to Central Missouri.

Camera averaged 19.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.5 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game during the 1-1 week. She also connected on eight of her shots from beyond the arc (.381) with an average of 4.0 makes per game. She was also a perfect 2-of-2 at the foul line.

“[The career-high] felt great,” Camera said following the victory over Pitt State. “It did not matter to me the amount of points I had at the end though, it just felt great to get my shot back! I was focused on defense the most and moving the ball and then hitting my shots!”
