Senior forward Helena Orts led the charge in a two-game non-conference week for ART U women's basketball. Averaging 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game, the Acting major provided consistent production.

After putting up 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists versus Central Washington on Dec. 12, Orts exploded for a season-high 29 points,12 rebounds, and six steals in the Urban Knights' win over Stanislaus State on Dec. 15. The Barcelona, Spain native shot 50 percent from the field (6-for-12) in the second half alone, scoring 20 points as Academy of Art made a fourth quarter push to come from behind and earn the victory.

Orts remains ranked second in the Pacific West Conference in steals per game (2.8) and finds herself eighth in rebounding at 8.3 rebounds per game.
