Senior Jamie Morris was a key contributor to the Academy of Art women's cross country third-place finish at the SF State Invitational on
Sept. 22 out at Golden Gate Park.
Giving everything she had left in the final stretch, Morris secured a 14th place finish with a new lifetime-best 6k time of 22:32.5. The mark was an eight-second improvement on her previous low and bettered her 2016 time on the course by nearly a full minute.
