In a most impressive conclusion to his debut season with Academy of Art University Men's Track & Field, Jordan Edwards walked away from NCAA Division II Nationals a three-time All-American. Beyond his trophies in the 4x100m relay and 200m dash, Edwards' highest achievement was becoming the National Champion in the 400m dash.

Lighting up the track in the men's 400m final and showing exactly why he was named USTFCCCA West Region Track Athlete of the Year just prior to Nationals, Edwards powered his way to an incredible 45.99, the only sub-46.00 mark of the weekend and an ART U program record. The Denver, CO native would also finish seventh with his teammates Ronald Spears, Jr., Marlon Britton, and Alexander McNally in the 4x100m (40.75) and fourth in the 200m (21.01).
