The Urban Knights played three matches in three days, two against opponents right on their heels in the national rankings, and thanks in part to Lucia Zavarcikova, came away with a winning road trip. Zavarcikova fell in the opening match at Azusa but rebounded for a tough three-set victory at Point Loma and another good win against UCSD's Paula Chou, who at the time was ranked ninth in the region in singles play. In doubles play, Zavarcikova and Jenny Johansson remain a perfect 7-0 on the season after, winning at Azusa (8-5), Point Loma (9-7), and UCSD (8-4).
