Providing a little bit of everything off the bench for Academy of Art in its first two Pacific West Conference games of the season, junior forward Ines Medina averaged 16.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks per contest.
In 30 minutes of action against Point Loma on
Nov. 29, the Advertising major scored 14 points (a season-high to that moment in time) while stuffing the stat sheet with nine rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Two days later versus Concordia on
Dec. 1, Medina continued her breakout with a season-high 18 points (one shy of her career-high) plus 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in 35 minutes on the court.
Including conference games only, Medina now finds herself among the PacWest's top 12 in points, rebounds, blocks, and steals per game.
