Jonmundur Gretarsson added to what has been a magical senior season this past weekend in the Urban Knights' start of their Hawaii roadtrip. Scoring three goals in a lightning fast 4:04 against Chaminade, Gretarsson would be named Pacific West Conference Player of the Week. The feat was considered the quickest "hat trick" (fastest time between only three goals scored in a contest) in PacWest history.

It all began the 76th minute when Jon "Jay" Eldon gently lobbed the ball over the defense to his Icelandic teammate who sent it home from 10 yards out to the far post. Just over a minute later, Aron Ekberg drove one across the field from the right side to Gretarsson who placed it over the Chaminade goal keeper to the far post.
