Academy of Art University Athletics

The Academy of Art men's golf team was led by Stuart Favretto during the Pioneer Shootout hosted by Cal State East Bay on March 7-8. On the par 72-6782 yard Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, CA, Favretto overcame windy conditions to finish the tournament tied for 55th place out of the 77-golfer field.

Favretto trimmed nine strokes off of his second round score to finish round three with a 78. His total score of 247 (82-87-78) landed him above golfers from Cal State San Bernardino, as well as fellow PacWest opponents; BYU-Hawaii, Notre Dame de Namur, and Dominican University.
