Lifting the Urban Knights to an 11-6 overall record as well as 7-3 Pacific West Conference record, redshirt junior guard Donovan Vickers stepped up big this week for his squad, playing a key part in their two conference victories against Fresno Pacific on Jan. 20 and Menlo on Jan. 25. 

Knocking down the game-winner in overtime this past weekend against the Oaks, the native of Edmond, Okla. came down the court for the last shot, and after driving to just inside the left elbow, pulled up for the clincher to put ART U up 91-89 with just a second left on the clock.

Averaging 13.5 points on the week, the Music Production & Sound Design for Visual Media major drilled 10 buckets with four 3-pointers within the two contests, while additionally helping his team on the opposite end with three total steals. Vickers has been one of the deadliest three-point shooters this season, as he ranks fourth place in three-point field goal percentage in the PacWest Conference.
