Sophomore goalkeeper Kris Jensson combined with the Academy of Art defense to post the team's first shutout of the year in a 1-0 overtime victory at Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 1.

Jensson would face a total of 15 shots in the match and he recorded three saves on the trio that ended up on goal. The Otters had two opportunities at the game-winner after 90 minutes of scoreless soccer, but it was ART U sophomore defender Oliver Hadeen who finished the game with the golden goal in the 94th minute.
