Honored with his second ART U Athlete of the Week award this season, men's basketball senior guard Rodney Munson came out of this past week’s contests on Dec. 5 and Dec. 7 with a new career-high while leading the Urban Knights to their triumph against Vanguard.

On the week, Munson averaged 23.5 points per game, highlighted by his career-high 26 points against the Lions. Additionally, the native of New Orleans averaged 5.0 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals. Munson also went 16-for-33 from the field, shooting 48.5 percent in 34.5 minutes per game.

After the Communications & Media Technologies major's big week, he now ranks in fifth place overall in the Pacific West Conference rankings as he now holds an average of 16.0 points per game. Munson has shown that he can do it on both sides of the floor as well, as he now ranks eighth in steals per game (2.1).
