Bill Harke began as a volunteer with Academy of Art women's golf in 2023.
In his first season with Academy of Art women’s golf, Harke helped lead the team to a
second place overall finish at the Pacific West Conference Championship where both Plern Rattanaprakarn and
PacWest Freshman of the Year Chantel Tsai finished within the top 10 of the tournament, earning themselves All-Tournament Team honors. Harke assisted coaching the team's players to a top 15 finish throughout the season on 14 occasions, while Nicole Yang saw herself be awarded an
All-PacWest Second Team honor with the teaming coming away with
six academic awards.
A Bay Area native who has been caddying on various tours since 2004, Harke has caddied for numerous professionals on the PGA Tour including Jonas Blixt, Peter Tomasulo, Peter Lonard, Jarod Lyle, Aron Price, James Driscoll, Tom Gillis, Colt Knost, Sam Ryder, Paul Casey, James Hahn, Ryan Moore, Chris Kirk, and long-time friend, Matt Every.
Harke started caddying for San Jose State standout Janice Moodie on the LPGA Tour along with various others before making the move to the Korn Ferry Tour in 2008 to help Peter Tomasulo earn his PGA Tour Card. Since then, Harke’s highlights have included wins with Chris Kirk at Sea Island in 2013 and the Deutsche Bank FedEx Cup Playoff event in 2014 as well as with Jonas Blixt at the Greenbrier Classic in 2013 plus the Zurich Classic in 2017 and with Min Woo Lee at the Genesis Scottish Open in 2021.
Harke graduated from Cal State Monterey Bay where he competed on the men’s golf team.
