Leticia Gonzalez dos Santos began as a volunteer with Academy of Art women's tennis in September 2020.

Guiding an Academy of Art women's tennis team comprised of two sophomores and four freshmen in 2021, Gonzalez dos Santos' first year alongside Head Coach Clarisse Baca was highlighted by two wins over ranked teams in No. 25 UH Hilo and No. 24 Fresno Pacific, two PacWest Player of the Week honors, three All-PacWest Team singles honors plus a pair of doubles selections, and five Academic All-PacWest awards.

A competitor for nationally-ranked Hawaii Pacific from 2016-2018, Gonzalez dos Santos went 12-14 in singles play and 19-27 in doubles in her Sharks career while helping the team reach the NCAA Division II Semifinals both years. She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, spending time as a sports photographer and videographer for Hawaii Media Source during her time there. After graduation, Gonzalez dos Santos served as a volunteer coach and social media content provider with HPU women's tennis. She would also spend time as a production assistant intern with NBC Palm Springs.

Prior to Hawaii Pacific, Gonzalez dos Santos earned her associate degree in Journalism at the College of the Desert where she also served as an assistant women's tennis coach from 2015-16. She is currently working toward a master's degree in Communications & Media Technologies at Academy of Art.
