Ben Stadler

Ben Stadler began as Academy of Art University women's soccer human performance coach/goalkeeper coach in Spring 2018.

Stadler brings an intersecting skill set of competitive club/college prep soccer coaching, along with a professional playing background as a goalkeeper in both the United States and Germany for 10+ years. While soccer never left him, he chose to pursue an education and career in human performance with an emphasis on strength and conditioning, injury mitigation, and return to play protocols.

While working as a head coach for the competitive soccer club SFVSC, Stadler guided multiple teams to the premiere and gold division championships and won the U18B NorCal State Cup. In addition to working within the competitive club structure, he was also an assistant coach under Jeff Wilson, at Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Francisco for five years. While at SHC, Stadler helped guide the fighting Irish to two CCS titles and one final with the varsity boys program. During that time, two of his goalkeepers were named WCAL All-League First Team.

After years of competitive club soccer coaching, Stadler transitioned full time to human performance. With six years of strength & conditioning and consulting work, Stadler started his own company working with professional and collegiate athletes, creating an environment where players could focus on return to play, durability, and performance prep for combines and international trials.

Prior to ART U, Stadler was a human performance coach with the 2017 NASL Champion SF Deltas.

While with the Deltas, Stadler, alongside the head of performance Kyle Thorne and athletic trainer Josh Pendleton, helped to create protocols for injury mitigation by applying expertise in biomechanics, load management via data analytics, and an integrated return to play approach.
