Nathan Warstler

Nathan Warstler begins his first year as Assistant Coach for Academy of Art University Cross Country and Track & Field.

Warstler was previously Graduate Assistant Coach for North Central College’s women’s track & field and cross country program. Responsible for recruiting there, he successfully brought in 15 freshmen for our 2012 season. Additionally, Warstler assisted with team workouts, team travel, academics, and served on a management team when the school hosted the NCAA Division III National Championships in 2011.

Warstler also assisted the Chicago Flyers Track Club in 2012, working with athletes through a series of elaborate training techniques to prepare them for USA Track & Field and other competitions.

As a student-athlete himself at North Central College, Warstler competed all four years for the track & field and cross country teams. He was a Division III Cross Country All-American in 2010 after helping lead his team to a second place finish at the cross country national championships that year. He was also Cross Country All-Region and All-Conference Team as well as a track & field national qualifier in 2011.

Warstler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (2011) and obtained a Master of Leadership Studies: Social Entrepeneurship (2013) from North Central College in Illinois.
