Ashley Watson began as a volunteer for Academy of Art men’s soccer in August 2024.
Since 2017, Watson has served as the founder and director of Casual Ballerz, a youth development organization designed to impact young people through life skill advancement, football coaching, and guidance toward athletic scholarships in America.
Watson has also had coaching stints with Chelsea Football Club (2018-21) and Maidenhead United FC (2017-18) following his graduation from SF State with a master’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Competing for the Gators, Watson finished with five goals (two game-winners) and eight assists across 18 starts and 2,279 minutes in 34 matches played.
