Tara Roach, a Nashville, TN native, grew up doing cheerleading, dance & gymnastics. While cheering for both nationally ranked Hendersonville High School & United Gators, she was also a competitive elite gymnast.
She moved on to cheer at Middle Tennessee State while obtaining a degree in Elementary Education. She coached gymnastics, as well as cheerleading, throughout college and worked for Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA).
During her time as a UCA instructor, Tara traveled to China, India, Germany, England, and Australia to train cheerleaders and coaches on behalf of UCA. While in China she was part of a 5 person team selected to implement the Varsity China brand in Beijing. She is an International Ambassador at the Cheerleading Worlds to teams China, Japan, Germany, Scotland & England.
Tara is a public speaker for AACCA & choreographer for UCA's summer camp material. She has coached at the high school & all star level including 3 nationally ranked teams. Tara is now the UCA State Director for Northern California. Prior to accepting the State Director Role she was on the Core Training Staff for UCA as well as the hand-picked College Training Staff. She also holds her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine & teaches springboard Pilates at Burn SF.
