Scottsdale Community College: Zak played two years of collegiate baseball at Scottsdale CC and graduated in 2017.

High School: Zak attended Eldorado High School and graduated in 2015.

Personal: Zak was born October 27, 1996 to Doug and Rachel May. His father Doug played collegiate baseball at Western New Mexico. Zak has two siblings: a brother, Paul and a sister, Dayna. He is a Photography major.
