Ken Flach
Even though Ken Flach was Top 50 in singles on the ATP Tour, he is better known as a doubles specialist. He and his long time partner, Robert Seguso, won three Grand Slam Doubles titles and Flach won mixed titles at the 1986 French Open and 1986 Wimbledon. Flach also won the 1993 U.S. Open Doubles with Rick Leach.
Flach was a member of the U.S. Davis Cup Team from 1985-1991 compiling an 11-2 record and also was a member of the winning U.S. World Team Cup in 1985. That same year, Flach & Seguso were ranked No. 1 in men’s doubles on the ATP Tour. Flach's favorite accomplishment is his victory in the 1988 Seoul Olympics when he won a Gold Medal with Seguso in men’s doubles.
Flach is a student of the game and loves to coach future players. He coached for eight years at Vanderbilt University, guiding the Commodores to their first ever SEC Championship and to the finals of the NCAA Championships in 2003. Flach recently moved to Mill Valley, CA where he and his wife, Christina, have nine children between them. He is currently the Tennis Director at Rolling Hills Tennis Club in Novato, CA.
