Rich Murray

Rich Murray
A former Major League Baseball player, Rich Murray played first base for the San Francisco Giants from 1980-1983. After being selected in the 1975 amateur draft, Murray officially debuted with San Francisco in 1980. That year, he hit four home runs with 24 runs batted in and 66 total bases. Murray also went for 10 extra base hits that season including eight doubles and two triples. During his time with the Giants, Murray played alongside all-star left-handed starting pitcher Vida Blue.

Rich Murray was born in Los Angeles, CA and is the brother to MLB Hall of Famer Eddie Murray.
