2009-2010: Chaidez played in 18 games, starting one ... averaged 3.1 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, 1.2 steals per game ... scored a career-high 11 points (3-of-4 from long range) against Chaminade on Feb. 5, 2010 ... notched her career-high in rebounds (6) versus Sacramento State on Dec. 21, 2009 ... registered a career-high three steals against BYU-Hawaii on Feb. 3, 2010.
Previous Experience: Chaidez was a two-sport athlete at St. Mary's High School, lettering in both swimming (1) and basketball (4) ... As a senior her team was the 2009 BSAL league champions...2009 North Coast Section Champs... 2009 Nor-Cal runner-ups.. As a senior she was also awarded BSAL All-League honors... and voted team captain...
Personal: Born in Vancouver, BC Canada to Oscar and Marita Chaidez... enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, shopping, watching movies and playing with her three dogs...says that making school history as the first girls basketball team to ever be League champs and North Coast Section champs is her biggest athletic thrill... Plans to major in Fashion Design.
