2010: Barnes played in 12 matches, starting nine … completed the year with one goal, two points, and eight shots (three on goal) … scored one goal against Dixie State (Nov. 6) … registered two shots versus William Jessup (Oct. 22) and against Dixie State (Nov. 6).

2009: Barnes played in 19 matches with 17 appearances in goal for the Urban Knights ... Made 15 starts as goalkeeper ... Notched a season-best 12 saves against BYU-Hawaii (Oct. 10) ... Logged her season-high of 110:00 minutes on two occasions: at Dominican (Sept. 21) and versus Grand Canyon (Sept. 26) ... Posted three shutouts including back-to-backs in Hawaii: at Chaminade (Oct. 28) and at Hawaii-Hilo (Oct. 30) ... Scored her lone goal in the season finale at Grand Canyon (Nov. 7).

2008: Led the Urban Knights in points (6) and goals (2) … played in 17 matches, starting 14 … scored one goal against Fresno Pacific (Sept. 3) … also scored one goal against La Sierra (Oct. 20) … assisted on both goals against Cal State East Bay (Nov. 2).

Previous Experience: Barnes played four years of soccer and three years of football at West High School ... averaged 13.5 goals per year on the soccer team ... voted West High School's Female Athlete of the Year ... earned all-league honors her junior and senior years ... also voted team captain ... as the kicker on the football team, completed 22 of 23 point after attempts ... was a second team all-league selection ... top field goal kicker in the Tri-City Athletic League in 2007-08 ... was the first woman to play varsity football in school history.

Personal: Solveig Barnes was born in Napa, Calif. ... parents are Fred and Lisa Barnes ... enjoys traveling, snowboarding, swimming, wakeboarding, fishing, and going to the beach ... lists playing soccer in Europe over the summer and making it to the championship round as one of her biggest athletic thrills ... is currently teaching herself Swedish ... hopes to become an interior designer ...
