2025 Nevada Invite/Multis Results (Day 1 & 2)
RENO, Nev. – Starting its third meet inside the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Academy of Art track & field had multiple Urban Knights put forth marks that were significant both with respect to the program as well as NCAA Division II Indoor Nationals provisional qualification in the Nevada Invite/Multis over the past two days.
The women's 200m dash saw continued improvement from
Toni-Ann Lindsay who claimed the top spot in her heat by more than half a second and finished third overall out of 65 competitors in total with a time of 24.00. The performance bettered her previous indoor best by 0.14 seconds and put her tied with current teammate
Juvonna Cornette for fourth in ART U history. As an Indoor Nationals provisional qualifier in the event once again, Lindsay moved up to fourth in the country.
Ajani Ince made his debut among Indoor Nationals provisionals in the 200m dash as well, delivering a 21.36 across the finish line that swiftly elevated him into the nation's top 11 overall. Still fourth in Academy of Art history, the time brought him ever closer to current teammate
Robin Black (21.24) and was good for seventh of the 53 sprinters who competed in the event on Saturday.
Ending below the Indoor Nationals provisional standard at 18th in the country,
Ethan Forbes' second 800m of his collegiate career was marked by a huge improvement. In step with a quartet from NCAA DI Utah State, he bested the remainder of his heat at 1:52.49 (adjusted to 1:51.98 for elevation) across the finish line, tying him for fourth-fastest in ART U history.
Improving on her season-best in the high jump as part of Thursday's pentathlon,
Maika Cuenca-Andreo cleared a bar at 5-1.75 (1.57m) to put her into sole possession of fifth in ART U history.
