Belmont, CA-- The Academy of Art women's volleyball team improves to 5-3 with a win over the Notre Dame de Nemur Argonauts last night on their home court. 

AAU started off strong taking an early 6-0 lead.  But the Argonauts rallied back capitalizing on unforced errors created by the Knights. The Urban Knights we unable to pull it together and eventually lost the set 25-20.

The Urban Knights rallied back after losing the first match and never looked back, winning the final 3 sets 25-20, 25-21 , and  25-19. Academy of Art held a 47-42 kill advantage for the match and committed six less attack errors than the Argonauts while each team finished with seven aces.

The Academy of Art  was led by sophomore Dan Yang who paced the Knights with a match high 15 kills and 13 digs while Freshman Olivia White dished out 40 assists.

The Urban Knights take the floor next tonight against Menlo College at 7pm.
