Academy of Art track & field's Marie-Jeanne Ourega emerged from a memorable Indoor Nationals as both a three-time National Champion and 15-time All-American in her career.

On Mar. 10, the Communications & Media Technologies major immediately rose to the long jump competition's top position and remained there for its duration. The last of all 20 jumpers to step onto the runway, Ourega opened with a new indoor best of 20-9.75 (6.34m), elevating her to third in Indoor Nationals history and 10th in Division II history. She would jump no shorter than 20-3.5 (6.18m) in her three legal completions and secured her first indoor title by more than eight full inches.

Less than 24 hours later on Mar. 11, Ourega achieved an indoor best in the triple jump. Rising in the standings on her second attempt, she delivered a 42-0.75 (12.82m) mark which had her third heading into the final round. Ourega's first time ever surpassing 42 feet in the event's indoor version held her in the fourth position overall by the end.
