Duncan Agyemang spent DII Indoor Track & Field Pre-Nationals moving up the ranks both individually and alongside his teammates with impressive 400m efforts.

Less than 24 hours after nearly matching his personal record with a 6.87 in the opening round of the 60m dash on Feb. 10, Agyemang began action on Feb. 11 by offering a strong 400m performance as he led 40 others with a time of 48.11. He took over 0.30 seconds from his previous season best, putting himself 19th in the country as an Indoor Nationals provisional qualifier once more.

Agyemang then joined Makarios Page, Shareez Hamm, and Robin Black for the fastest 4x400m relay time for Academy of Art this year. Improving upon the previous top mark by nearly a full second, the quartet handily bested the competition at 3:12.41. Bettering the Indoor Nationals provisional standard by almost five seconds, the effort pushed the Knights up into top five in the nation.
