Graduate student guard Will Balata averaged 13.5 points per game off the bench in the 2-0 week for Academy of Art men's basketball, finishing as the team's second-highest scorer after ending both games shooting 4-for-9 (44.4 percent) from the floor. During the 85-67 win over Cal State East Bay, Balata pulled down a team-best eight rebounds to go with his 13 points and a pair of steals, while he added 14 points, four boards and four assists in ART U's first ever win over Chico State 84-57.
