Ombretta Picciolie Minkue Meye ran and contributed to some of the best times of her career, all Outdoor Nationals provisionals, throughout the Mt. SAC Relays this past week.
On
Apr. 22, the Communications & Media Technologies major posted her fastest outdoor 400m mark to date at 55.38 in an event where she was the only NCAA Division II competitor. The time put her into a tie both for 17th in the country and third on Academy of Art's all-time list.
Later that same day, Minkue Meye teamed with Selena Arjona-Alcazar, Alice Coisne, and Alisha Wilson for a top-eight time in the 4x400m relay. Once again running with NCAA DI talent primarily, the quartet produced a 3:44.60 Outdoor Nationals provisional.

Apr. 23, Minkue Meye passed the baton between her 4x100m relay teammates, Marie-Jeanne Ourega, Darria Matthias, and Arjona-Alcazar, before rising to fifth in the nation. Their collective 45.64 time ended up just 0.43 from Academy of Art's fifth-fastest time historically.
