Brian Kraft helped ART U baseball clinch at least a series split against nationally-ranked No. 3 Point Loma in game three of the series, as the freshman lefty earned his first ART U victory by going 7.0 strong innings while allowing just one earned run on seven hits with eight strikeouts, the third consecutive game he has fanned eight hitters. Dominant throughout, Kraft took a no-hit bid into the fourth inning, and was able to escape a bases-loaded jam with no outs in the seventh by inducing a pair of ground balls, the last of which was an inning-ending double play.
