Finishing fractions of a second from two NCAA Division II National Championships at Indoor Nationals, track & field's Selena Arjona-Alcazar concluded the indoor postseason with her first two individual All-American honors.

First in the 60m, Arjona-Alcazar finished third in the prelims on Mar. 11 with a time of 7.44 that was just 0.04 shy of the program record she tied earlier this season, joining multi-time Hall of Famer Vashti Thomas atop the ART U list. The final on Mar. 12 saw the Communications & Media Technologies major then go 7.47 for fifth overall back of the 7.34 turned in by champ Minnesota State's Makayla Jackson.

An even better result came in the 200m where Arjona-Alcazar nearly bettered her season-best with a 24.13 in the prelims before a significant improvement when it mattered most in the final. The Panama City, Panama native won her heat, blazing to a new personal record of 23.95 which was second in program history. Though the second of two heats saw West Texas A&M's Leah Belfield run 0.02 seconds faster for the national title, it was still a memorable way for Arjona-Alcazar to close out her individual events at Indoor Nationals, holding her second All-American honor on the podium.
