Along with further etching her name into the Academy of Art record books, Natalia Novak rose in the NCAA Division II ranks at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

In just her second 1500m run in an ART U uniform, Novak bettered her own program record with an Outdoor Nationals automatic qualifying 4:18.60 in the event. Cutting over four seconds off the time she debuted at two weeks ago in Azusa, Novak's effort upped her to second in NCAA DII this season and 13th all-time.
