Natalia Novak's Academy of Art debut in the outdoor 1500m impressed on many levels at the APU Invitational on Apr. 3.

Battling many competitors from NCAA Division I University of San Francisco in the race, Novak emerged with a new ART U program record in the 1500m, finishing at 4:22.71. The second-lowest mark in NCAA Division II thus far and less than a second from the Outdoor Nationals automatic qualifying standard, Novak's provisional time became the new program record by nearly eight full seconds.
