Skillman was responsible for ART U’s 3-2 win over Holy Names in game three of the non-conference series, as he became just the ninth pitcher in program history to toss 9.0 innings. The last to do so was Ben Kaser in a matchup against Hawai'i Pacific on April 27, 2018, a game which the Urban Knights won 2-1. Skillman set a season-high in strikeouts with six, allowing two runs, only one earned, on four hits. He tossed 146 pitches in the win to move his record to 1-1 while lowering his ERA to 3.68, and induced nine groundouts.
