In a close battle with Pacific West Conference opponent Chaminade during the Urban Knights' home opener on Dec. 15, junior forward Megan Jefferson was key on both ends of the court for Academy of Art women's basketball.

Nearly posting a double-double by halftime, Jefferson tied her career-high with 13 rebounds while adding eight points on 3-of-3 shooting from the field. She finished with the highest plus-minus stat of the eight Urban Knights who played, registering a plus seven in her 24 minutes on the court. Grabbing 8.3 rebounds per game, Jefferson currently ranks third in the PacWest in that category.
