Contributing to two wins in her final two collegiate games, senior infielder Brenna Youngquist broke the ART U softball career home run record with a homer in each contest against Dominican on May 4. For the week, she finished hitting .400 (2-for-5) with the two home runs plus three runs batted in and two runs scored.

On the second pitch of her first at-bat of the day, Youngquist tied Academy of Art career home run record-holder Alana Aweau with a solo blast in the second inning of the opening contest. She later added a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning, helping guide the Urban Knights to a 4-0 victory. The Acting major then cranked another solo homer in her first at-bat of the second contest, breaking the eight-year record en route to a 2-0 win over the Penguins.

Youngquist finished her four-year Academy of Art softball career ranked first in program history in home runs (22) and walks (77) as well as top 10 in RBIs (131), total bases (261), fielding percentage (.976), sacrifice flies (6), slugging percentage (.488), doubles (29), hits (162), and on-base percentage (.397).
