Alex Fernandez was named one of this week’s Urban Knights of the week after putting together a strong start in his first outing of the 2018 season. Despite giving up a single in the first inning, the Napa, Calif. native escaped the frame with only five pitches and finished the first two innings with just 17 pitches while recording three strikeouts. Fernandez then cruised through the next five innings (7.0 in total) while only allowing two earned runs and picking up ART U’s first win of the season.
