Junior middle blocker Margaret Winkler displayed aggressive offense and sound defense through ART U Volleyball's four-match week in Hayward for the D2 West Region Volleyball Showcase.

Coming alive against Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 9, the Poznan, Poland native set a career-high with 10 kills and just a single error for a .563 hitting percentage. The following evening on Sept. 10 against Cal State East Bay, she matched her career-high with 10 kills once again, but this time had zero errors and hit .500. She would add five block assists as well.

For the week, Winkler had a team-high .365 hitting percentage with 1.69 kills per set and 0.85 blocks per set. She remains the PacWest Conference leader in blocks per set (1.17).
