Junior left hander Alexander Kuisel tossed his first career complete-game shutout in game two of a four-game series with UH Hilo. The Chula Vista, Calif. native held the Vulcans to two hits over nine innings, notched one walk, and a career-high eight strikeouts. The south paw also had a stretch where he retired 22 out of 23 consecutive batters. Kuisel has now produced a quality start in three out of his previous four outings and has a team-high three complete games this season.
