Returning to his home state for the Northern Arizona University Tune-Up on Feb. 19, Craig Mattox won achieved a new season-best in the long jump in front of friends and family.

The Winslow, Ariz. native placed first in the event, soaring to a 24-5.75 (7.46m) mark that puts him now eighth in NCAA DII and third in program history. He would also finish third in the triple jump, going 46-6.75 (14.19m).
