In Academy of Art University's two games this past week, a 70-62 loss to Grand Canyon on Jan. 18 and a 75-55 victory over Dominican University on Jan. 23 at Kezar Pavilion, freshman guard Madeline Houston finished with solid all-around performances. She had six points, two steals, and one rebound versus GCU. Against Dominican, Houston scored eight points, dealt out five assists (the third time she has done so this season), grabbed two rebounds, and notched two steals in 24 minutes of action. She helped increase a seven-point halftime lead with a fast break layup and a jumper in the first four minutes of the second period en route to the win versus the Penguins.
