Freshman forward Aaron Aikman made some significant contributions in Academy of Art University's two games this past week. He posted a season-high 16 points to lead the Urban Knights in a 69-51 loss to Dixie State on Jan. 16 at UCSF. Aikman topped his previous scoring high by six points and played a big role in keeping the Knights close to the Red Storm by halftime. He also added a team-high six rebounds (three on the offensive glass) and two steals all in 29 minutes off the bench. Against Grand Canyon two days later, Aikman proceeded to nearly match that previous rebounding figure with five boards.
