Wielding one of numerous hot bats in the ART U Softball lineup, junior infielder Taylor Thurman hit .467 (7-for-15) through four games last week while driving in five of the Urban Knights' 29 runs scored. She started the week by bringing in the an early run against Stanislaus on Mar. 4 then reached base three times in the second contest and scored once. Over the weekend at Holy Names on Mar. 7, Thurman drove in her squad's first two runs with a 2-for-4 game one performance then had a key two-run double during the six-run surge that put the Knights up for good.

By the week's end she had reached base nine times, touched home plate four times, and stole her second base of the season. For the year, she ranks seventh in the PacWest in doubles (5), 11th in RBIs (14), and 12th in average (.404). carries a five-game hitting streak into Monday's matchup with No. 19 Humboldt State.
