Junior forward Nick Cary averaged 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals coming off the bench in two Pacific West Conference games for the Academy of Art University men's basketball team.

On New Year's Eve at Dixie State, Cary was the team's second-leading scorer with 13 points, including three 3-pointers. He shot 5-for-8 from the field (62.5 percent), dished three assists and grabbed two steals in a 93-70 defeat.

Saturday Cary hit another 3-pointer, notched an assist and swiped a steal while scoring nine points in a close 67-61 loss at home to Dominican University of California.
