Academy of Art University Athletics

Newcomer Jake Walter scored his second goal of the season Sunday for the Academy of Art University men's soccer team in an effort to lead the Urban Knights on a comeback, though the team would later be edged by Humboldt State 2-1 at University Soccer Stadium in Chico.
 
Walter struck for the Urban Knights in the 52nd minute off a pass from freshman Alex Walsh, shooting high and right to cut the Lumberjacks' lead to one goal. Walter led ART U in shots with four in the match, including two on goal. Academy of Art would outshoot Humboldt State 12-7 in the match.

Walter is now second on the team in points with four (2 goals) and second on the team with shots with nine.
