A defensive fixture for Academy of Art University, sophomore Runar Gudbjartsson finished off a solid two-start week in which the Urban Knights tied with Dixie State and took a tough loss to #10 Grand Canyon.

Gudbjartsson's game, which often assigns him to an opponent's most dangerous offensive threat and doesn't always show up statistically, was on display this past week. The Reykjavik, Iceland native worked hard in the back line, winning balls and disrupting the offensive rhythm in particular against DSC's Tyler Albretsen and GCU's Saeed Robinson (currently the PacWest's second leading scorer).
