Academy of Art University Athletics

Freshman Jaylon Hicks lit up the track with his first Academy of Art University record of the outdoor season at the Pasadena Games this past weekend. Hicks posted a 10.63 mark in the 100m dash and finished 2nd out of a field that included 18 competitors.

His efforts rank him at the top of the program's All-Time Record list in the event and this marks the second time this season the Houston, TX native has produced an ART U record (the first was in the 60m dash during the Urban Knights' indoor campaign).
