In only her second race with the women's cross country team this season, junior Miranda Wiley became the much-needed fifth Urban Knight finisher at the San Francisco State Invitational on Oct. 9 this past week. She completed the 6k course with a time of 33:30.01 and helped Academy of Art qualify as a team at a meet for the second time this season. Wiley had originally planned to only participate in AAU Track & Field this school year, but various injuries to the cross country squad led to her opportunity to contribute to their season as well.
